Description

A contribution by Karin Michael

This contribution examines the role of sleep for learning and memory. Karin Michael connects Rudolf Steiner’s concept of the “sleeping soul” with modern sleep research and gives tips: learn new things in the morning, anchor them at night, repeat only the next day. Topics such as rhythm, light and the hippocampus as a “Waldorf education organ” are also addressed.

A contribution by Karin Michael for the conference on special needs education in October 2025 at the Goetheanum.
